As a survivor of both the 2019 Oregon District shooting and the devastating Memorial Day tornadoes, Green's journey is a testament to the enduring spirit of the Dayton community.

Dion Green's campaign is deeply personal, shaped by his experiences with profound loss and rebuilding. "This campaign is born out of the tragedies our community has endured," says Green.
"In the wake of the tornadoes and the mass shooting, I've experienced firsthand the pain, the resilience, and the need for growth in our community."

Locally, he founded the FUDGE Foundation, aiding survivors of traumatic experiences in their healing journey. Nationally, he has become a vocal advocate for gun violence prevention, mental health awareness, and effective disaster response, sharing his experiences and insights to influence positive change across the country.
